My name is Amanda O’Rourke, and I am the proud owner of Lavish Hair Studio of Pittsburgh.
I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, and from a young age, I would always admire my mother while she did hair. From those childhood moments, I knew that one day I would like to be a stylist myself and make people feel beautiful.
After graduating high school, I attended Pittsburgh’s own Empire Beauty Academy. At Empire, I became a certified cosmetologist. For the next seven years, I honed my skills as a hair designer as well as in managing a salon.
I opened Lavish Hair Studio of Pittsburgh with the dream of providing the best hair design to my friends and family. My dream expanded to providing the best hair to the entire Pittsburgh region. I chose my staff with this vision in mind. Every stylist working at Lavish Hair Studio offers quality hair design services.
I am a certified hair extension specialist and certified in Brazilian Blowouts. My education does not stop there. I regularly attend hair shows and classes to keep myself contemporary to provide the latest and trendiest hair design services.
